Step-by-step guide

Adding a fare

  1. 1Open the Income tab and tap Add Fare.
  2. 2Enter the fare amount and, if you received one, a tip amount.
  3. 3Choose how you were paid — cash, card or account work.
  4. 4Tap Save. You'll hear a confirmation ding and your daily total updates instantly.

Logging an expense

  1. 1Open the Expenses tab and tap Add Expense.
  2. 2Enter the amount and pick a category — fuel, insurance, phone, repairs and more.
  3. 3Optionally photograph the receipt with the camera button.
  4. 4Tap Add Expense to save. Tap the pencil icon on any entry to edit it later.

Scanning a fuel receipt

  1. 1In Expenses, tap the camera icon on a fuel expense.
  2. 2Photograph the fuel receipt — CabCountPro reads the amount and litres automatically.
  3. 3The cost fills in and the litres are logged to your Mileage & Fuel record.
  4. 4No manual typing — the deduction is captured before the receipt is lost.

Tracking mileage and fuel

  1. 1Open the Mileage & Fuel tab and enter your odometer reading.
  2. 2The app calculates miles driven from the difference between readings.
  3. 3Your total miles, fuel cost, cost per mile and MPG are shown at the top.
  4. 4Switch between Week, Month, Year or All time to review any period.

Viewing reports and exporting

  1. 1Open the Reports tab to see a full financial summary.
  2. 2Switch between Today, Week, Month, Year or a custom date range.
  3. 3Charts show income vs expenses, income by weekday and a breakdown by category.
  4. 4Tap Export Excel to download a spreadsheet ready for your accountant or Self Assessment.
